Nestled at the southern end of Warringah Shire, Manly Vale is a charming little suburb with a strong sense of identity and a village atmosphere. It has a close-knit, friendly community spirit. Located just minutes walk west of Queenscliff Beach and roughly half way between Manly and Warringah Mall, it is surrounded by green playing fields and golf courses and stretches up into the hilly area of Manly Dam, flanked by the Manly Warringah War Memorial Park with its wildlife, flora and walking tracks.
Transport
The Sydney Buses main arterial bus route from the Northern Beaches Peninsula runs right through Manly Vale with services to Wynyard (including express), North Sydney and Milsons Point as well as Crows Nest. There are also private bus services that can take you directly to Frenchs Forest and Chatswood. Plan your bus trips here
It would be completely viable to live in this location without a car, with everything you need within walking distance.
Shopping
Shopping is particluarly easy. Within 10 minutes walk you have Harris Farm North Manly or Coles Manly Vale, as well as numerous other stores on Condamine Street. Within 5 minutes drive or 25 minutes walk, you can reach Manly with its busy Corso shopping plaza, its movie theatre on East Esplanade and its ocean front cafe precinct. Alternatively, you can travel in the other direction for a similar distance to visit Warringah Mall, the largest shopping mall in Australia surrouded by the busy industrial and commercial areas of Brookvale. Or you could go up Condamine street, past Harvey Norman to the new Totem shooping centre which is under development.
Manly Beach – Australia's First Seaside Resort, is just a short walk from home.

The best kept secret on the Peninsula, just 3 minutes walk from home. They make delicious authentic Italian pizza and the beer is cheap. Join the club. Have a bowl or a beer and share fun and friendship with the locals.
